Holy Moley, it's the Holy Modal Rounders! You know Psych Rock, but before that there was... Psych Folk! More Alice in Wonderland than Jefferson Airplane, imagine the Hookah-smoking caterpillar learning to play the guitar and writing songs. This record came out in 1968, it is on the Elektra label and has the original first-press gold label and gold-ink inner sleeve. The record barely makes it to VG+ because it has a slight bit of surface noise but does not skip and is a good listen. This is an interesting artifact of the past when beat poets starting writing folk songs. VG+-/VG, cover has bottom corner creasing and scuffing. But still very colorful and playing this for your friends is better than showing them a magic trick.
